Wow, has it really been 2 years since I posted?!? Insanity!

Some things have changed, and some have stayed static...but here I am, about a month away from finishing my junior year of college, and actually happier than I have been in a while. This part of the middle doesn't suck quite as bad as the first part of the middle. This is the part of the middle where you can see the light at the end of the tunnel (thank goodness!).

At the beginning of this semester, I realized that with about 6-9 hours of summer school, I could graduate a semester early. I was pretty gung-ho about that for a while, then realized that summer school costs money...that I currently do not possess. So I will be finishing out in 4 years, hopefully with a major in Human Environmental Science, and a minor in Journalism. It's hard to believe that this chapter will be closing soon. It's exciting, though!

Looking back at the last post about track shorts and The Northface...I realize that I have conformed even more, but I will say that it is for comfort's sake. Leggings - gifts from God to the female college student. So comfortable!!! I wear them all the time. Yoga pants - my new best friends (and I don't even *do* yoga). Oversized t-shirts - blessings in extra large. I'm still sporting my natural skin tone... I used to be good about going to tan a couple of times every week, but I had to quit my job, and my schedule is a little crazy, so I've been sporting the ultra-white look here lately. I'm trying to tell myself white is the new sun-kissed, but it's not working.
In the famous words of my friend Anne-Ashley, "If you can't tone it, tan it!"
I think I'll stand behind that and Miranda Lambert's statement that tan fat looks better than white fat. And on Twitter, I'd hashtag that #whitegirlprobs.
Ohh, yeahhh, Twitter. Funny story. I was never going to join Twitter, and then I was sitting in a dermatologist's office last fall, bored to death, and what do I do? Create a Twitter account. NEVER let a bored college student wait in a doctor's office for half an hour with free wifi. Needless Twitter accounts will be made.

What else do I have to catch up on..?
Boyfriends? Ha. The last few have been disasters, but I am dating a guy now who seems to have it together. He's smart (which is a relief), fun, and really easy-going. We'll see where it goes :)
Friends - I actually have them now (hallelujah!). Sara transferred, Raymond enrolled again, and we have an awesome little clique. We're loud and we laugh and we have fun. It's awesome!
Family - Hanna's a senior. Graduating in a couple of months. Scary thought. I'm old. It's official.

Til next time, (hopefully it won't be another 2 years)... H
